COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION

What we are providing

NPAI believes that to truly revitalize a community, expanding opportunities for entrepreneurship, education, and workforce are essential!

As an organization, our Board believes in the potential growth and opportunity in the Acadiana area. NPAI provides in kind use of office space for local organizations to incubate and train and teach their programs. Operations like VITA and Abbeville Teen Court are flourishing in our opportunity space. This Summer, students will experience STEAM activities that will encourage career paths and creative enterprises!

In addition, Nehemiah's Cafe on State, through a series of soft openings/fundraisers, has provided meals and meeting space to showcase local culinary talent for local area nonprofits civic groups.

We are in the process of staffing to cater events and eventually open as a restaurant and venue space that will house an on the job, educational training facility to build life skills, job confidence, and boost culinary talents in Acadiana.

Preparing for their Future...

ProStart/Culinary Arts and STEAM opportunities are beginning this Summer through our offices at 100 S State Street and in Nehemiah's Cafe on State at 106 South State Street. We are connecting to resources at local high schools, Acadiana Workforce Solutions One Stop Job Center and South Louisiana Community College to make this happen.
